The recreation center is located on Dogwood Drive at the shoreline. The facility is open year round with your member access code. If you do not have an access code, you can get one by contacting the office.
There are many other activities available: Air Hockey, BBQ Pit and Picnic Tables, Basketball Court, Board Games and Cards, Exercise Equipment, Foosball, Horseshoe Court, Kitchen, Pool, Ping Pong, Playground Equipment, Shuffleboard and Wii Sports Resort (12 different sports).
If you are not familiar with the Wii, you control the action primarily by moving your arms and body. It is low impact, but you can also work up a sweat if you want to. It is a really fun, family friendly way to burn calories. There are 2 sets of controllers (for multiple players) and the following games. Bowling is probably the easiest to start with. Let me know if you need help getting started. Games include: Tennis, Bowling, Baseball, Boxing, Golf, Swordplay, Basketball, PowerCruising ( Jet Ski ) , Table Tennis, Wakeboarding, Frisbee ( complete with puppy to catch the disk! ) , Canoeing, Cycling, Archery, AirSports.
Snacks and Drinks are available for purchase.
The tennis courts, located near the lodge and Community building, are also available year round with your keycode.
The boat ramp on Black Oak Drive is available for water activities. There is limited parking, so please don't leave your vehicle overnight. The ramp and approaches are narrow and steep and the ramp may be too short in low water conditions, so please don't get in over your head.
Our airstrip is open for aviation operations to members and others by permission. It also makes a great place for a morning or evening stroll or to deer watch.
